GreenTech+, trade shows committed to ecological innovation and sustainable development
GreenTech+ is a division of the GL events group, a unique showcase born from synergies between trade shows united around the common themes of ecological innovation and sustainable development.
With GreenTech+, the GL events group aimed to play its full part in addressing major environmental challenges, with a one-of-a-kind format that brings together and offers new visibility to emerging sectors. GreenTech+ is the accelerator through which this new entity within the GL events group is committed to supporting industry players in their development, seeking tomorrow’s solutions, and increasingly guiding our citizens towards eco-responsibility.
By organizing spaces and time for exchange, strategy sharing, and solutions, with and for the stakeholders and sectors committed to the ecological transition, GreenTech+ fosters innovative collaborations and stimulates collective intelligence. Cross-sectoral collaboration, technology hybridization, and inter-industry dialogue are key success factors for the ecological transition. Combined with a human-centered approach, conviviality, and sharing, these elements will enable us to meet the challenges of tomorrow’s transition. This is how GreenTech+ hopes to bring together stakeholders from the relevant sectors to participate in all the planned events.
Hyvolution Canada, a new expansion for the international Hyvolution network
Hyvolution’s strategy, led by the GreenTech+ teams, focuses on large-scale deployment and rests on three pillars:
– Hyvolution Paris, the world’s leading trade show, and Hyvolution Summit, the meeting place for global leaders.
– An international network of trade shows under the Hyvolution brand
– An international community of hydrogen decision-makers from public and private organizations, united on the Hyvolution Hub platform
Following the inaugural Hyvolution Chile in 2023, which brought together 3,800 visitors and 70 exhibitors in Santiago over three intense days, the leading trade show in South America will hold its second edition from September 3 to 5, 2024, in Santiago.
The success of this first international Hyvolution event has encouraged the international hydrogen community and the GreenTech+ teams to further develop this network by proposing a new location.
The first edition of Hyvolution Canada will take place on October 1 and 2, 2025, at the Centre d’Événements et de Congrès Interactifs (CECi) in Trois-Rivières over two days.
This project is co-organized with stakeholders in the Trois-Rivières ecosystem, which is very dynamic in the hydrogen sector. The official signing took place today at the Canadian Embassy.
Other projects to expand the event are under consideration in Asia and the Middle East.
The City of Trois-Rivières, a key partner for the first edition of Hyvolution Canada
The City of Trois-Rivières has entrusted Innovation et Développement économique Trois-Rivières with an extremely important role: to support and coordinate all economic development within the Trois-Rivières region.
A university and port city, Trois-Rivières is much more than just a city; it is a vibrant community forging its future as the North American gateway to the energy transition. At the heart of this commitment to a sustainable future lies the Energy Transition Valley, a bold innovation hub that embodies our vision of clean energy and decarbonization through carbon capture and sequestration and the production of green hydrogen, one of the specialties of our university and its Hydrogen Research Institute (IRH).
“In 2025, we are proud to host Hyvolution Canada, an event that will provide a unique platform for exchanging innovative ideas, strengthening global partnerships, and stimulating the Canadian hydrogen ecosystem.”
The Mayor of Trois-Rivières, Jean Lamarche, expressed his enthusiasm for the city’s position in the hydrogen sector: “Trois-Rivières is firmly committed to being a global leader in sustainable development. By hosting Hyvolution Canada in 2025, we are delighted to share our expertise and collaborate with industry leaders and innovators from around the world. Together, we are shaping a future where sustainability and innovation go hand in hand.”
The City of Trois-Rivières is thus establishing itself as a living laboratory, a global testing ground for cutting-edge hydrogen technologies, where industry, research, and the community converge to create a cleaner and more promising energy future.
